I'm in the market for a new table saw. It will just be used for personal projects, but I would like it to be a sturdy machine that will last a long time. Space is not an issue :) Can anyone suggest a good make/model and where to purchase in Melb?

Thanks.

TSC-10HB is the one. Do a search. Tons of info. It costs around $1500. Everyone who ones one loves them.

Carba-Tec in Brisbane will deliver free of charge (and give a discount I think) because Carba-Tec Melbourne closed down. (Do a search on that for all the gory details).

Perhaps a cheaper contractors style saw would suffice, such as a TSC10B or MJ 2325G
Leda or Hare & Forbes stock both saws. They sell for about $750-$890

I like my Delta Unisaw with sliding table, great quality (not the cheapest though). It should see me out. Available from Carbatec.
