I knew I was old when I was driving my dad somewhere and was listening to Mr Lucky (JLH) in the car, then clapton unplugged and my dad told me my music was good.
Did I get older or did he get younger?
Still glad that Chuck Berry is NOT on your list. Got to see him in mid 70's at festival hall 2 years in a row.
SRV was just a freak, with the talent he had. there is a really good tribute dvd, his brother and others do all his old song.

Some great names and great performances there.
While we are in "Memory Lane" how much material did Buddy Holly leave? Our local Community FM radio plays a lot of his stuff and I am amazed just how many different songs he recorded.
And...what happened to Mrs Holly?

I don't know what has become of Mrs. Holly, but Miss Molly is alive and well and gets dusted off at least once a month around here.
Leon McAuliffe or Leon Rausch vocals ,Bob Wills one of the fiddles. Tommy Duncan was singer on much of the classic recordings.
