Just a short note to let you's woodies out there in Brisbane & surrounds that we are bringing some amazing timber to Brissie..
Stock will include:
Bowl turning blanks, spindle, pen blanks,thin boards, boards, small slabs,m carving timbers...
Species will include...
White cedar, rose she oak, river oak, silky oak, red cedar, stunning blackwood...(really stunning, almost fluorescent yellow sap with almost black heart...amazing stuff),black bean, NG Walnut, NG rosewood,aust rosewood, swamp mahogany,hakea, yellow cedar,jaccaranda,camphor,tassi oak, amazing red ash, osage orange, ebony, pink fig,jarrah.....
Note well..
This year we will have some of the most beautiful Australian species of bowl blanks you will ever see...great sizes and very keen prices. same as the spindle timbers...
Budget bins..
This year we will feature a great selection of budget offcuts suitable for turning, intarsia, between centre work, carving..you name it !!
Guitar stuff..
We will also have guitar timbers for back & sides of accoustic guitars, necks for cigar box guitars, tuners, pickups, fret boards,strings,
Diddly Bows & kits..
this year we are having "diddly bows"... primitive 1 string slide guitars as kits , take them to Stan at the bush craft display & assemble them there and get a lesson on how to play this amazing instrument!!!!
Awesome for kids 4 years to 85 or so years old !
We are going to have something for everybody, with loads of bargins !

The river oak, she oak & white cedar are incredibly beautiful, some of the prettiest I've seen or cut !!!
Also...most of the timber will be Australian natives, with some camphor !
