I have just bought a newly published book with this title. It describes 100 of the principal furniture making timbers from around the world. Its best feature is the quality of the colour photos of the various woods. If you have often wondered what exotic timbers like Ziricote, Cocobolo, or Jelutong look like, this book will show you. It also covers a number of Australia's most popular timbers. At $19.95 from Angus & Robertson, I reckon it is excellent value.
