Just got back from the Northern territory where I stayed with a mate in a VERY rural area............. We went fishing and this was the result.......... The haul also included about 35 Snapper, Mangrove Jacks, Jewfish etc! No Barra alas!

I know that this has nought to do with woodworking.... The only reason I'm posting tese pix is to brag............. Oh dear me, I couldn't eat another crab!

That's me in the 2 tone blue shirt with matching sunburn....... the one holding the live crab is my son, Ian.

Sigh. What Wongo could have done with those :p ;)

Hope you had a good feed. They look yummy.

Craig (who actually thinks crabs are more trouble than they're worth) ;)

How rural? Howard Springs? Humpty Doo? Presumably not as rural as Yuendemu or Port Keats?

I don't need to go to the Territory to catch crabs like that.
Caboolture River supplies me with all I need. :D

Baseball,

Take care. There is an awful lot of sewage in the Caboolture River.

No Barra alas!
They are fun to catch but, on the tooth mangrove jack is the best.
My father in law was at the barra nationals that just finished, they didn't get any either

Nice catch, Corunetes, but what's the notice about the strip show in the 1st pic?

When I was less mature, anyone who caught crabs was given pennicillin.

I think you must have had something worse than crabs to have had penicilin.

Loved the pictures, great touch
