Terrific Macca.

Love the 'just to see if I could' :)

Lookout Wallace and Grommet - it'll be the moon next.

What timber btw?

Beautiful. I love it. May I ask the name of the wood you have been using.?
For fun if you want to see mine :

la-truciolara.............the wood used for my clock is Jarrah. It is a hardwood which grows only in the southwest corner of Western Australia. Was widely used in the building industry, but is now becoming difficult to obtain because of the curtailing of logging in old growth forrests. Hence my remark about the piece I used coming from a demolition yard.

Thank you macca.
No wonder I could not recognise it. I hope that you made a stock of it from that demolition yard.

Macca,
Nice work. I suppose if you sit it on it's end and turn it antin clockwise you can slow down time. :-)
If so i will have 2 for when i am working in the shed.

I forgot to ask, how do you get the clock out for adjustment etc?

Literally just pull it out. It's only sitting in a recess held in place by two metal strips for friction (maybe not even that).

Adrian.........the clock is a snug push fit in the wood, so you can slip a thin blade behind it and pop it out to adjust or change battery.
