Now that it's done and dusted, I thought I'd share some images that I took on Saturday of the 2013 Australian Woodturning Exhibition (http://www.theaustralianwoodturningexhibition.net) here in Melbourne. The overall open winner was Daryl Broadhurst with this amazing Ferris Wheel. Made out of Black Mulga, Daryl told me it took about 5 months to build and it contains (from memory) 96 different parts.

These images were chosen by me, at random, and are no way representative of the overall quality of entries. This was my first time going to AWTEX and now I know where the bar is set. I intend on entering next year so will have to get cracking and start planning.
