Shower Setdown

I am about to have a house slab cast. I was wondering if anybody had an opinion on whether I should go for a shower setdown in the slab or just put a shower base on top of the slab. Thanks

Set down

Put in the setdown .... screed the floor towards the shower waste. Install a framless shower screen that sits just above floor level ..... mmmm super.
