Hi everyone,
I went along last night to my first meeting, it was a good night, couldn't turn because of insurance, you need to be financial, and have your receipt!
It was good though, got to see some others turning, and meet all the guys. There is some real wealth of knowledge, its the best place to be, to make a desicion about buying machinery, there are about 4 guys who are the "Gurus" and the have about 80 years experience between them. One guy even started on a similar machine to farmboy (he said not to feel bad, and just learn how to turn on that lathe).
I paid my money last night, so hopefully i will be able to start turning in 2 weeks time.

That's a bit of a hike from Kingswood to Lalor Park!!

Can you post the where-n-when details of the meetings?

I wish I'd known about this when I was living at Kings Langley!

Cheers,
Andrew
