Just got home with the Robert Sorby Hollowmaster RS230KT. Anyone have any advice or tips/tricks? I already saw the post about grinding a washer down to limit the cutting on the round blade!

Dunno about using the round blade for cutting, I only use it with the tool on it's back for shear-scraping - best tool in the kit for it too!
I couldn't get the hollowing cutter to work for me with the standard grind but once I put a 4 or 5 degree angle on the bevel we became best buddies - still my first choice for hollowing anything to about 3" deep or under cutting.
Top bit of kit - you won't regret buying it :2tsup:

Agree with the Tree Terrorist. They are good and the Sorby quality speaks for itself.
Be careful hollowing with the round cutter, particualrly against the grain. It will grab and
tear into the wood. They can be very fierce. Nice light cuts with the grain and good to shear scrape with
would be my advice. I am about to start some deep hollowing using the carter system so I will post how it goes
because I will also use some of the sorby cutters. Drillit.
