Hi all
Second post ever here and thought I would start with asking a question to utilise the knowledge base on the forum.
I have a triton MK3 and recently added the maxi sliding extension. No matter how hard I try I can't seem to get it cutting square, there always seem to be 3-4mm difference over a 1.2m cut. I have been locking the fence on 1000mm and measuring to the front and back of the blade so they are spot on 1000 at the trailing edge and then swapping over to do the same on the leading edge to front and back of the blade, even to the point of lining the tape measure up with a set square to ensure the correct measurement. I found a post on here from someone that found the sliding table was not square so I made sure that was spot on and tried again to no avail.
If anyone has any tips and tricks they could share that may help me I would really appreciate it. If that sort of tolerance is all I can expect it may be time to upgrade to a proper bench saw but I would prefer not to just yet.
Thanks for your help.
