Firstly welcome to the forum.

There are a number of ways to sell tools, via this forum in this link; AUCTIONS (http://www.woodworkforums.com/f275/) via external auction sites and of course retails outlets of older/antique tools (in Sydney there is a Group called The Tradition Tool Group, TTTG)

As I am in Sydney is makes it a little hard to point you to a particular outlet but I am sure someone will come along who is more familiar with Melbourne / Victoria.

I would mention that sometimes it is better to have a fuller understanding of a particular market before venturing into that market. Do some research on the tools via names, brands so you can get an idea of what the tool is worth. You might want to ask questions on this forum from this link. The sister group in melbourne is Hand Tool Preservation Association (http://www.htpaa.org.au/)
and they have regular tools sales where you could hire a table and sell yourself or consign the tools for them to sell on your behalf.

Some old tools aren't worth much at all others a small fortune, depends what you have got. Maybe post some photos here for a better more informed response from the forum.
