Now there is a gearbox that "overcomplicated" describes well. But other than the linkages (including bevel gears:oo:) the machine looks the goods. I wonder how big it is?

That shaper is extraordinary, I think the bloke making it might be a bit on the extraordinary side too.

Has anyone managed to download and unzip the metalwork / gear Calculating program on his web site ?

I cannot get it to run . There is a weird .ex_ file in it .

Any ideas

Mike, you may have to change the file extension to .exe

Just rename it to ShopCalc.exe Some programs will strip .exe files, exspecially email. work fine on
my PC

I discovered this computer has corrupted registry files . I downloaded a Microsoft scan program , but it only finds the problem, if you want to fix the problem you have to pay Microsoft for the fix :no:

Thanks . Finally got the shopcalc program running - it is a very handy little program :2tsup:
