Re "Cern" Thread

I had to close down the tab for this thread because it was taking so long to load and because I have a limited download allowance.

It would be helpful if pictures were kept smaller(?) and if possible only the thumbnails posted, giving members the option of loading just the pictures they want to look at. I don't know if it was the number of pictures or the size, as size is limited anyway but it was taking a long long time to load. Not everyone has lightening fast connections and huge download allowances.

While I have a fast connection downloading these images was too slow even for me so I also gave up on them.

These 6Mp images have not been uploaded direct to the forums, instead they are being linked to from something like a photobucket account.

This also means when that photobucket account goes bellyup the links will no longer work and the images are lost which gives me the pips.

Direct loading to the forums will not permit such large images be downloaded.

Dean, No Problem. I'm still trying to catch up with all the forum activity, and I made the mistake of cleaning up the workshop before we left, and I'm having a real struggle to get it back to its usual chaos.
