Broken spindle connector

The male plug that goes into the spindle (800W model) has a broken strain relief. My fault trying to install a larger diameter cable than it was designed for.
Does anyone know a source for these connectors? They are the same pin spacing as the 4 pin microphone connectors that Jaycar sell but at 380220V and several 5 amps, I don't think I'd like to use one.

As I have to remove the socket to add an earth wire to the spindle, I'm OK with replacing the connector with another, suitable one.

Element-14 or RS should have a good variety of plugs.

I have a couple of these plugs/connectors on hand but they would require modification to the spindle to use, as would the square ones you showed.
While I did say I'd be willing to make such modifications, the way my metalwork is going these days, a straight replacement may be safer :)

I use the Amphenol plugs because they are power rated for use on the spindles and also they are MUCH better quality than the one the spindles come with. You don't have to solder them either and they can also take a much bigger wire.

A quick measurement of the Amphenol socket shows it would need at least a 23mm hole, the existing hole is 16.5mm.

Bearing in mind that my spindle is water cooled, there may not be enough room to bore it out
I'll have a closer look tomorrow.

The spindle in the linked post was my air cooled spindle, but I have upgraded to a larger water cooled spindle and have had no problems installing the Amphenol socket so I can interchange the spindles if required

Took the spindle apart and measure and I agree that the Amphenol socket will fit.
the new hole will just hit the 4 mounting holes for the existing socket. I'll have to drill/tap an aditional hole for the earth wire - it was using one of the existing screws.

5 minutes on the lathe to bore out the hole to 22mm, 10 minutes to drill and tap 2 mounting holes. (not as straight as I'd like :- )
And there's enough of the tapped holes for the original connector left that I can still use one to attach the added earth lead.

Hopefully problem solved. Good luck with reassembly. Reading through I was about to offer a loan of chassis punches to open the hole out, but remembered that you had a lathe in the kit.
