just got a ts250 table saw looked alright but on inspection nowhere to adjust the blade so on the phone .i go to get a new one after getting it guess what, that blade is not strait either.so i get on the phone tell the gmc man whats wrong .he promises to fix it and send out a new saw well we will see if this one is the same going to look else where. GRAHAM

Thats not the real cheap one? $89 bucks from bunnings?

This is not the little one, it's the BIG one. ($400??) I looked at these before buying a Triton workcentre. The main thing that turned me off the TS250 was that the fence was so flimsy. It attaches to the table at the front edge only, and doesn't even reach the rear edge of the table, so it can't attach to the rear edge. This means that the fence can easily move a couple of mm at the blade, which means wonky cuts, especially on heavy timbers which might have a mind of their own as to where they want to go. I bought a Triton workbench and a GMC Platimun 9 1/4" saw, very happy with both. I can't believe how accurate the cuts are. Also with the triton I have the option of other accessories such as router table and a planer attachment. (I've just fitted the planer attachment and despite it looking so dodgy, it works really well.)
