Am almost finished constructing my new multi-purpose workbench. Do any of you have an opinion on the best vice to buy?

Go to Carba-tec and purchase a Chinese clone of the Record 52 1/2. These are 9" quick release vises costing $89 (compared to $230 for the Record version). I have two on my workbench and cannot fault them. There are minimal differences between them and the Records. A Best Buy.
