I am attaching a picture of a change gear for a metal lathe. I am trying to find out what type of lathe it is meant for.
It has 116 teeth.
The bore is 9/16".
The thickness is 7/16".
I think it is cast iron.
The outside diameter is about 6 1/2".
The words "TURNING GEAR" and the abbreviation "116 T" are cast in it.
The teeth mesh with the teeth on Hercus change gears, but the bore is wrong for an Hercus lathe (I think Hercus uses 5/8" whereas this is 9/16").
This was an orphan among some other gears in a lot of 10 gears I bought secondhand.
