G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Tuart".
There are quite a few members in Perth and across West.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork..
Cheers crowie

PS - May I suggest you post the specialty question in a number of the specific sub-sections....

Welcome to the forum, if you don't get any info from here, you could ring up some of the larger timber companies which cut logs down to timber as they probably have someone who does it for them or may know what the procedure is.

Cheers

Ed.

Thanks for your warm welcomes, I have a portable swing blade sawmill and would like to use some of the timber for structural purposes hence my inquiry about timber grading, thanks again for your help.
