Hello to all,
Never one to leave things to the last minute  I have earned entry into the Golflink race to Bonville event (5th~7th May) as the SA Order of merit winner! (Whew!)
The trip includes 3 nights accommodation, meals, golf & uniforms. I've just booked cheap flights and I would love to see a little bit of the area and am flying in on Sunday the 4th in the afternoon.
I'm sure to think of many questions in future but for now,.... what is the best way to get around? (not hiring a car) and are the taxi fares reasonable?
What kind of weather can we expect in May?
I'd love to stay the Sunday night in town or closer to the coast...any suggestions?
As well as a big Banana are there woodie things of interest to see?
Would anyone like anything small and legal etc. brought up?
I'm not sure of the itinerary yet or whether we will have time each day for sight seeing. I hope so.
This is my first golfing holiday and first time to the NSW north coast.
Looking forward to any and all suggestions.
Mark.
