Light in colour (similar to cedar). End grain very straight and evenly spaced (~1mm), face grain symetrical evenly spaced wavy (almost interlocking)down its length?
How does this compare in availability to other Aussie timbers (jarrah) and hence cost.
I'm looking at using it to refurbish a kitchen.....any drawbacks?
