Cypress Pine

Hi, I have recently completed a bookcase made from Cypress Pine (I knew it as Murray Pine as a kid). It has a beautiful grain and although generally used for flooring, it seems to me to be wasted there.

I am about to start on a dining room table and would welcome any hints or tips from anyone with experience with this wood.

I will be happy to post details of the table when I get it done to anyone interested.
