Good morning all,

I have a mate who 2 1/2 yrs ago had a whopping big sydney blue gum cut down. Him being a bit of a woodworker had the guys cutting "slab" some of it. I put it in " " because it is basically just rough sawn with a chainsaw. It is various lengths (600 - 2100) and various thicknesses (35 - 55ish) and sometimes that thickness range in the one piece. All around 400 - 600 wide.

Was wondering if anyone out there could recommend a business who would be able to tidy this timber up for me? I borrowed my Dad's electric planer to try out some of the easier pieces, but even that was a lost cause.
Also, what sort of money would I be looking at for this service?
BTW I am in the penrith area (Sydney NSW), so could go up the mountains or into the city if need be.

Thanks in advance.

pity you didn't live closer. I would have used my lucas mill with the saw too
level them or would have used the lucas with the wood wizz attachment

Windsor road, note all the slab furniture, they also tidy up and wood wizz stuff. Don't know their name or full address, but they are impossible to miss on the north side of the road past Riverstone turn off
