Another piece of my beech went under the lathe today.

As I said made from beech and is 5 1/2" by 2"

That looks really nice.

I bought my first lathe last weekend & still need to get some tools, but I was wondering,

What grade of paper do you go up to to achieve that sort of result?

What else do you do to finish you bowel, to make it look like that?

All tips appreciated.

Derek,you've done well, managing to leave the weight of the wood in the turning without leaving it looking chunky and ungainly.
