Norfolk pine bowl 225 by 130 wall thickness is about 10 mm first coat DO. Really needed some sort of foot on it!
Thanks for looking

I don't know if it needs a foot. In the first photo the shape is quite pleasing to me.

Edit: I looked at it full screen and it looks just fine as is.

I agree with Paul, it's a pleasing shape.

Hi chuckie,
I must have missed this one , the bowl looks great , if you think
it might need a foot , just turn a ring and put it under
the bowl , you could then decide one way or the other
just a thought, well done on the bowl mate:U

Hey chuck it looks great. I've got a bit of Norfolk down in the shed and I love the way it turns and the way the timber colours up I also think the shape is pleasing as well.

I think it looks great.

I've never worked with NIP but someone once told me it is great for turning and not much good for anything else. I dont know if thats correct or not.

I once saw a bowl that someone had turned at the Adelaide Wood Show. (It was a while ago) The turner had cut the blank each side of a section where all the branches were. The result was a bowl with a row of knots evenly spaced around it. It looked great.
Well Done
