Does anyone know of someone selling screws online? I tried Timbecon and Carba-Tec, but not too much of a large selection there. Am chasing some Bugle Batten screws, I figure they are similar to the square drive screws?

Cheers

Bugle head batten screws are a common as dirt item in cyclonic areas (used to screw down timber roofing battens). Any hardware store should be able to get them in for you. If you can't get to a hardware store then your local rural supplier should be able to get them. My hardware store stocks "Ajax" brand ones, but I'm sure there's other suppliers too. They're a prety big screw (14 gauge, about 4mm dia. shank, 14mm head) and come in 50mm, 70mm and 100mm (150mm ?) They're driven in with a 4.5mm? allen key bit. Not the sort of fastener you'd use in fine furniture, but not bad for outdoor furniture and rustic stuff.

Bunnings usually have them at the tradies area,
Mick, what do you mean not used in fine furniture, cause I find them quite fine indeed for using in mine :p will never ever fall apart in a cyclone.
