If you want more time in the workshop start playing computer games...alot.

If she's like my Mrs she will think that games are such a waste of time she will be glad you are in the workshop doing something productive

I was thinking of a footstool like this. Can you give some dimensions? How comfortable is it?

Eowyn,

Expecting to get back in the workshop later today and when completed I 'll post the verdict.

However, there has been a major change of design :o since photographs shewn. I had a kickback ( the first time ever) when cleaning out the dadoes on the veneered chipboard. Glad the rear door (fitted glass) was open it shot right through the opening. The ole ticker never missed a beat!!!!

Using an upturned laundry washing bowl for my feet at the moment,
verdict, quite comfortable. :D

I didn't know you aussies were short. What do you do, take it to cricket matches to see over the heads in front. :D

Only kidding, it looks useful for kissing the wife.

I want a slope on mine so I can rest my weary feet and not cross my legs.

Pleased to report footstool is a real success. Been using it for an hour this morning and my feet haven't left the stool.

Going to make another in some quality hardwood with through tenons instead of dowels.

Thanks ozwinner.

Stitches not used these days but if you want the exact gory details I will post for your info.
It involves a nurse with strong fingers applying heavy pressure in the groin area etc etc etc. .
This proceedure involved a second operation the next day on the otherside of the groin. It made my day, or hopefully many days more. :D :D :D

Thank goodness it wasn't an harse attack, I hate to think what the treatment would be. :D
