I started a thread in the woodwork part of the forum about Christmas Gifts ideas, here is the link for those that may be interested http://www.woodworkforums.com/showthread.php?t=189206 .

And for those that do not venture to the wood work part of the forum please continue to read on. :)

My thinking of posting here is to engage metalworkers that had created something out of metal as a Christmas gift. And it does not have to be made from metal. It might be best to post historical gifts as current work in progress might be seen by the intended recipient. :D

Post a photo of what you made, how long it took to complete the item and what issues you came across. It just could be the inspiration for someone to make something and give it as a gift to someone. Or even if you do not have a photo of your pass creation paint a picture by the words you use.

Still just over two months before the 25th of December.

Whilst in the supermarket this afternoon, Xmas stuff was being stacked on the end shelf of an aisle. I saw something with Santa printed all over it that looked familiar. I went over for a look.

Sure enough it was toilet paper!!!!!:oo:

That's a nice way to treat Saint Nick.

Sorry. Just had to mention it.
