Hi

This is probably the wrong place to put this but I wasn't sure if "HiFi guys" look in the Freebies.

I have a set of Wharfedale E 70 speakers that are or no longer of use to me. Rather than put then out for the council clean up I was hoping that someone would be interested in restoring them to their glory. Or just using the "boxes" to make them into something more up date.

They are Wallnut veneer and would I think need a bit of walnut stain to bring them back to their original colour.

If you are interested they are in Mortdale NSW (they are heavy so postage out of the question).

I can be contacted on 0407378611.

Regards

Brett

Hi There,
Yes I have my 2 x 6in. Wharfedales + 3in. tweeters sitting beside me here, at this moment. They are as good as the day I made my own Boxes of Chipboard to put them in.

Had to buy this thick brown sound Stuff??? nailed up & down in the Boxes, to make them sound better, so I was told.

Blow your head off, if you Turn the Volume up.

I bought them from Allan's Music Store in Flinders Street Melb. Vic. back in 1969, for $64. Better than most I put them up against. Golly, they are 45 yrs old.
