few days , was wondering if there are any events
or places of interest (woodie things) any get togethers etc!

Well I'm home and you are welcome to come around. Busy making some pepper grinders at the moment in the carport because the workshop hasn't been cleaned up since I left :rolleyes:. Things are pretty quite woodworking wise due to the Xmas shutdown and/or people going away for holiday (like yourself :?).

That's the trouble going away. The clean up elves go on strike, as well as holidays, no one to oversee them that's the problem :D
Even when I'm home, they don't turn up for work, but the little blighter's come in at night and move things around!!
