Pink Tongue

This is the visitor I had in my garden sometime ago. I tried to pick him up but he was too quick for me. I sent a photo to the Queensland Museum and they said he was not a 'blue tongue' but was a 'pink tongue'. Apparently they have a vice-like grip and will not let go if they bite you, so I was grateful it scurried away.

I am very fond of lizards and try not to do anything that deters them, or frogs, from being
welcome inhabitants around the home.

Unfortunately my wife detests lizards, especially geckos and small skinks. Luckily she has a
fondness for frogs.
