router plate question

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask,

I have a Dewalt 622 (same as 621 i think), and have the router table plate for that. I am looking for another router that can fit the router plate but have not been able to find one so far.

Does anyone know if any 1/2" router fits the router plate which has the same drill holes as the 622?

The Elu 97 & 97E & DeWalt's 620, 621 & 622 share base dimensions. They are otherwise unique, i.e. different from others.

Just fit a centering bit to your alternative choice of router & mark & drill the plate to suit.

DeWalt's DW622 is in my opinion one of the best designed routers for hand held work currently available. Nobody has ever been so far able to significantly improve on these old Elu designs. At 1400W it's excellent for a large variety of bit diameters, and has (in common with its brethren) the smoothest, most easily controlled plunge mechanism on the market.

DeWalt's DW626 has a similar base design, but different hole layout & guide rods (10mm dia). It does however use the same collets & guide bushes as the 622 & Oz & USA models only of the 621, making a type of "system".

It is also, with the the exception of th big Mafell (which costs a Kings ransom) the most powerful on the market. When combined with a Woodrat or Trend plunge bar & Musclechuck it's also in my opinion one of the better table routers available.
