Hi, I'm after a good supplier of decorative furniture veneers (pref in the Melb area). I'm actually after some 'banding' for a blackwood table top I'm restoring. Can anyone help with an address or phone? Thanks.

I'm not clear on what you want, but Peter Soctt Young in East Ringwood has a large stock of veneers of different types. I can email you his address and phone number if you let me know yours.

George fethers & Co. in Port Melbourne. Lacey's in Brunswick (AKA Timberwood Trading)
You could also try "Antique restorers", there is one in either Toorak rd or, Toorak? Called Brown, they have a whole gaggle of bits "N" pieces including the odd Wide leaf, banding et cetera. I could look it up in the Phone book but, i figure you can do that.
