Does anyone know what company makes artisan turning kits. I have tried my feeble google search to no avail. You can buy the kits in USA, but I am interested in checking out the manufacturer. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

What are you referring to re artisan? There are many kits that are referred to as artisan kits, ie pen/knife/shaver etc, it is usually referred to as "everything your need to make a ....".

Artisan is a brand of pen kits and such sold by Craft Supplies. Has a copious variety of clips and bushings. No indication of where they're made. If all else fails, they ship outside USA. http://www.woodturnerscatalog.com/FAQ
