A previous post and a need for a micro fence adjuster got me designing. I did not need the fence further than 70mm from the centre of the router bit so I decided to utilise the slot in the base plate that is normally used for the circle cutting pivot mount.
The adjustment assembly can be moved back and forth in the slot to give a total adjustment of 75mm. It can be locked in any position to give a micro adjustment. When locked in position it can be moved through 25mm.
Fig. 2 shows the underneath of the plate. The screw on the RHS locks the assembly in position once it is moved close to where needed then the micro adjustment is used.
