Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has any mill blanks for sale, or if anyone knows where I could find some? I have looked at ebay but there is not much there.

I am looking form something about 70mm x 500mm. Don't mind what wood, but something light would be nice.

Thanks

Been in the lathe forum the blank I am looking for is square :) (70 x 70 x 500).
I am in Melbourne but am happy to pay for shipping.

Thanks

I've bought sections of timber from Trend Timbers and had them posted down to geelong when I was after something specific and couldn't buy it locally. I also used to buy dressed red gum and jarrah in mill blank sizes from a recycled timber place. Hopefully someone in Melbourne can help as there is probably someone near by

I have some dry blackwood and jacaranda blanks. Also have some old red gum house stumps if you're interested. They're not exactly 70 square and most are 300 to 400mm long. Located in Bundoora, Melbourne. PM if interested.

My local Bunnies (Port Melb) has 70x70x900 DAR Pine. Even managed to find a clear piece.

Bought one this week for a little project.

Try Mapleman on this forum. Chris has some groovy timber and is always cutting weird and wonderful things. Damien
