Earlier today I was performing a Google search for plastics for templates and happened upon this:

It seems as though the patent has expired however I wonder what Woodcraft were up to?

Thanks for sharing the link. Interesting concept for high volume production of say candle sticks. Can't see a lot of market for it though in the hobby field.

Lots of wood turning patents have had little financial success. Many of the tools and accessories we use regularly are rarely credited to the real inventor.

Interesting, thanks for going a step further. Why would you patent something that is already mass produced? Is it merely just an acknowledgment to the inventor or taken out for financial gain?
