Not sure where you are located I got one through Trend Timbers NSW.
Other wise find your self a decent belt supplier and they should be able to fit you with one.

When I had the same lathe I bought mine from CBC Bearings: http://www.conbear.com/. 99% of the time they'll have to order one for you. Hope there's one near you. If you can't, try some sort of bearing supplier.

This is the belt on my Nova 3000.

The belt is coded "Micro - V 240j 610mm"

I would have bought it from Talair Industrial Supplies, Osborne Ave., Springvale. (03) 9546 1033.
Ask for Ian or Dean

I got a replacement a few years back from Rydell in Cheltenham Vic

http://www.rydell.com.au/index.php?page=gates-ind-belts

Cost was $20 (their minimum charge). I should have bought 2 as the second would have only been a few dollars more.

I bought one for my Nova 3000 back in early 2013. Carbatec (Teknatool Agents in Aust) had the belts in stock - from memory it cost me about $15.00.

Just take your old belt down to your local bearing & belt supplier, much cheaper there

Last time I needed one, I ordered from Gregory at $35 and it ended up the wrong size :~, sent it back and got the right one from the local bearing shop for $6

Thanks for your replies. Carbatec in Melbourne have 1 in stock and there are 2 in Brisbane. Melbourne Carbatec is a 8 hour return trip for me so I will look at other belt suppliers closer and see what I can get.
