Hardwood Slabs Needed

Hello All,

I have been asked to make a 2 & a half seater outdoor chair from hardwood slabs and they need it by the end of March. Can anyone suggest a supplier of seasoned hardwood slabs in Sydney or 1-2 hours outside of Sydney. I have tried Trend Timbers but they do not have anything at the moment.Any suggestions on species would be greatly appreciated too.

if you are prepared to travel up to Port Stephens area, about 2.5 hrs from Sydney, I know two guys who do slabs. One has a range of stuff including redgum.

I haven't got their details handy but if you let me know I'll chase them up.
