How's it going, I'm doing a steel handrail my stairs are 38 degrees now I know I minus the 38 degrees to get the landing and stairs angle but how do I cut the reflex and it is 142 degrees is it 142 - 90 then half that for the mitre cut ?

Should have said try with a piece of timber first to confirm the angle is right.

I assume youn want the hand rail parallel to the stairs then level for the landing
