I was given these old Collets and told they came from some industrial machine.
Since getting them home I have noticed that they are nearly all branded hardinge, and appear to all be imperial and have a third marking like 10 B&S, or CVA8.

Now to make a collet holder for these, I assume it needs a bore that matches the back ground dia. And a taper at the front with a nut that presses the Collets onto the taper to close it?
Im thinking to make a draw bar for them from one of these bolts. Fairly soft steel not sure if that is ok?
