I'm surprised the engineers would allow to Excavate so close to the boundary without underpinning the neighbouring property.
I'm not surprised this occurred.
I wonder the who is going to pay for the repairs to the neighbouring property, builders, engineer or building surveyor (or their insurance company).
I wonder who forgot about the angle of repose.
