Wipers broke on Ute. A rubber lug failed. So off to repco, no good rang wreckers $45 for 20 yr old part.
off to hardware shop, and found rubber foot for steel tube legs. Sold!
Turned a mandrel for rubber foot. Turned to shape and pressed it all together. And we have working wiper again.

It's back in sorry. There is a ball joint on the pivot point the other arm has a ring that goes over ball and the rubber fits over the ball and locates in the small diameter keeping ring on ball joint and takes out the sloppiness.
hope that makes sense. There is 4 ball joints in the wiper assembly.
It's off a Commodore and simular to the kingswoods. I'll get a better photo next time it's out.
I hope it won't be for a while!

That's what we want to see, invention as the need required.
