It may be still happening but I thought I would start a thread in advance. It is a great even, similar to other Turnabouts, but bigger :U, with over 100 attendees. Great company, plenty to learn and talk about, plus a lot of fun.
I've spent most of my turning time making a pepper grinder and a pot pouri bowl out of my olive wood I scored in Sydney but you will have to wait for photos until they are finished.
Here is a panoramic shot of the 65 lathe set-ups in the big hall.

Someone has taken a heap of photos, including a group shot, so hopefully they will add to this thread.
Pack-up tomorrow :C

Another great weekend with a shed full of like minded woodies.
Stress levels way down .
Caught u[p with old freinds and made a few more.
What better way to enjoy great company and lots of turning with some very happy people going home with new peices.

Thanks for being there.
Meant I could get what I needed.
I could get what I wanted but didn't need.
I could get what I forgot at home.

Yes another great weekend spent at Philip Island Turnabout 2015, and what weekend it was. You always leave the w/end knowing, you have picked up a few tips from other turners attending. Great to catch up and talk with friends you have made over the years, Bring on 2016 Turnabout. See you there.:B
