The handle design is based on the Moses Eadon Dovetail Saw with changes made to suit my needs.

The handle wood is Burdekin Plum;
11" x 2 1/2" below the saw plate;
12 tpi; 5* rake angle; rip tooth.

Great looking saw Stewie. How's your stamping coming? If I remember correctly you were planning a new jig.

P.S. I can barely see your mark because of the light. Looks pretty good.

Thanks Rob. Still having some issues with the tail end of the bottom text. Top line is extremely good. Will get to sort it as time permits. My guess is the press bed is slightly out of plum on 1 axis.

Hi Rob. Bed was out of plumb by 0.5mm. Testing on brass now showing a good imprint of both lines of text.

Stewie;

Do you think it might be possible to mount your stamp to the press ram via some type of ball or universal joint to allow for variations in the backs?

Hi Rob. Its always possible to do so, but if you take into account that the slotted backs should not vary within uniformity of thickness, it may be construed a little unnecessary within the design of the press.
