I just saw this on another forum. It shows an old Chinese version of a pedal lathe. The old bloke is pretty slick on the tools also. Good sharpening demo too.

Who needs fancy "Bowl Saver" system ? He's certainly a skilled turner, and does so well with very basic tools.

Quite a modern turner he is using a metric ruler. I agree who needs all the fancy tools, really like the tool rest adjustment
