Cheap slabs for purchase in VIC near Lilydale

Needing to know where I can purchase at a good price 4 x raw edged slabs to be used in making 4 seperate bench seats to be used outdoors after staining etc
size for each needs to be roughly 1.5 metres long x .5 metres wide x 1 inch thick
not concerned over what type of timber just needs to be sturdy and have a raw edge with nice markings and/or knots that don't affect its overall strength and stability
any suggestions would be fantastic

I think this is a great time to be reminded of the 'cheap-fast-good' triangle.
If you're looking for cheap timber quickly it might not be good,
If you're looking for cheap & good timber it won't be found quickly,
It you're looking good timber quickly it won't be cheap.

But at the end of the day sometimes you do find some. Never know your 'luck'

1" thick seem a tad light for a bench.

Personally, I would prefer something thicker from a visual and structural perspective.
