Hi guys,
A while ago I started turning a platter out paulwania
It kinder morphed in to a clock surround and a broken
rolling pin i was repairing for a customer , got more shed
time today and finished them both off , here are the results.......

Very spiffy smiffie! Great work. One consern the grooves in the handles for rolling pin might be painful to clean if clogged with dough.
Really like the clock, where did you get the clock movement?

The clock Is a John Laws special ,

How was the paulownia to turn? Ihave slab here, part of which became the front of a drawer.

Hi artme,
Sorry for the delay, Internet has been down for 6 days
The paulownia was soft and dusty, need very sharp edge
finish Is very rough but it sands well, took the stain well too!

It handled as I would have expected Paulownia to perform. In the end the result was good.
