Hello,

Does anyone know where I could learn woodcarving in Melbourne, that isn't extremely expensive? I work full-time, so I am looking for a way to learn after hours..

Thanks,
Jamie

Try the VWA (Victorian woodworkers Association) for starters. I know Karl Lutz is a member and is offering carving course over two Saurdays in the near future.

You could also look for carving groups. I don't know where however I did overhear a conversation about a particular woodgroup who mostly carve. Don't know where they are, try yellow pages or white for that matter.
You might also try the Peninsula woodturners, there is a lot of wood knowledge there.
Cheers.
