Hi all
on the weekend I brought a whole lot of weird timbers with a mate. We brought it on spec and think we have a gold mine.

Trouble is we are not sure what it is. All from western Qld and NSW

Look up Vern Bunn's site TTIT - http://www.ttit.id.au/ excellent practical ID guide.

Middle bottom photo 1 appears to be Burdekin Plum (Pleiogynium timorense) - shocking stuff better send it my way. :D

:D can never have to much Burdekin Plum! I thought I had found a reliable source from a gent who was making bush furniture using timbers including BP but the mobile number is no longer connected. :(

See you at Camp Kanga :2tsup:
